Hello,
would like some frames in a WMV9-Avi saved as images (JPG, TIF, etc.).
Known here in the forum and yes synonymous already suggested on Virtual Dub - two drawbacks:
s.es must first (eg with Pos1) to abzuspeichernden frame, then with the right arrow button to the next frame cracked and finally as with the end of this frame-button marked. Only then can the "File, Save Image Sequence" will be called -> especially if several still to be created, a little (time) expensive.
b) the use of me in AVI WMV9 format shows me VirtualDub unfortunately not the video, if I have to navigate a particular frame. I have only briefly allude to the film.

I play the movie hignegen in Windows Media Player, can I go in pause mode and navigate in the film to me is the video directly. So exactly what I need - only I can just save it does not support frames. A plugin for the version of 11-he is apparently not synonymous.
've Tried synonymous with PowerDVD. If I get the movie on pause and navigate the time line, is the film I immediately played. But I would like to frame accurately to a Still Image and finally able to navigate this store.

What Mögilchkeiten there are (if possible with free software), save frames from AVI?

Addendum: My Default Media Player "Media Player Classic" dominated the (b), but if I would like to save Still Image (File, Save Image), an error message appears: "GetCurrentImage failed, hr = 8000ffff") - so unfortunately, unfortunately, synonymous no success ...

Sorry, I previously had to worry about this problem & should google.
When I was in the MPC of "overlay mixer *" under DirectShow video enabled - no wonder I could not still be saved ...
So at the system-default and - what I've tasted umpteen attempts - MPC rebooted, it works now.
I have now both flies (s.and (b) with one stone = MPC slain ...
