'd like to do with it but I think that I will buy for the beginning of eBay a CanonXL1 until I have more experience then ...
But to my question!
As with the MiniDV is how they dub .. it always means digital
but these are then as Files of in HDD camcorder?
And how long will it take for example one minute 60th MiniDV dub on PC?
it is the same format synonymous workable?
What does it mean to control the cam with the PC! how am I supposed to
? understand what exactly is meant by that?

XL1 (; better XL1s or XL2) and SonyVX models are top quality SD cameras ... you can learn a lot with.
Mini DV is not the best because it may indeed be the best ever ... but they are cheap and good for archiving.
The dub takes 1 min to 1 last say 60 minutes 60th

Done via FIREWIRE (; get FireWire PCI cards you s.ca 10 euros)
The pictures are on DV Digital Video Library, of course, as in any tape (; music cassette or DAT) .... say it is not, as in 8 / 16 / 35 mm negative images exposed on "film.
The format as you call it directly workable, that is required (of course, a video, editing / processing program).
(With the PC; überFirewire) you can control the camera functions but usually only for playback or recording.
There are synonymous LANC special cards which are expensive and so you can respond at some cameras, the lens synonymous. (; Zoom and recording what the camera can hold on)
