Infoseite // Mov files of digicam, falter, without sound, can not be Converted

Frage von Man Man Man:

Hello,

some time ago had ever written in the forum but received no reply.
I have a Kodak digicam v1253 the videos in mov. and absorbs well in HD - so I set it at any rate.

These little things are crap, but not - not even the host in a worse quality

VLC - sometimes good picture but no sound
Media Player - no sound, Picture falters
QuickTime - increases total and Sound lags behind
---- All possible codec installed k-lite, vista-codec-pack

then I tried to convert them, because they themselves in the Windows Movie maker (you can not paste) and Adobe Premiere Pro (falter) will not run clean

NEN had quite a good laptop and Vista 64 bit on it

Cinema Craft - Will not work
Super - NEN convert wmv in some good but some he hears or produces smaller files
Windows Media Converter - total slow starts promising s.and delivers a large file 5KB

So I have not only tried to convert wmv to ... Super synonymous with mpeg in - the result is quite good, but these files liefren me in Windows Movie maker NEN green screen and when playing in Media Player, which agrees with the time scale (running up to half)

So I do not know next - at Media Markt, you told me the problem is not known

can someone help me? Please!

Hello,

Quote: is obtained by converting the system through your loss of quality? Hab mir Cam namely because of the good video quality fetched.
The Neukomprimierung the video quality loss always brings with itself. The question is whether you see it. Since I am strongly of compressed video (in H.264 MOV container) to less compressed DV - Video conversion is no visible difference in quality (this is the file is much bigger).

I can see the video files (*. mov) of my camera with the VLC player problem on the PC (AMD, 2.8 MHz) play.

MOV files are actually on the Mac at home. Since MOV is a Kontainerformat can use the video data in a *. mov file formats with different encoding. For me, it is H.264 and Mpeg4 to you (which is always synonymous including Kodak understands).

It is important with what you want to make the videos.
1. From the Television Camera to play with friends and yes rumzeigen should not be a problem.
2. On the PC store and watch on demand. Here it is s.besten the PC for the files to fit.
3. DVDs on most DVD players can be played. Here the videos have already converted and edited. A conversion is not unnecessary step.

Perhaps somewhere you can a video camera of your upload. I would be interested in what kind of a format and how the quality is.

[quote = As I am strongly of compressed video (in H.264 MOV container) to less compressed DV video conversion is not a visible quality difference [/ quote]

Oh, Martin, do it so I do not like, but here I must contradict you.
H.264 is used not only NOT DCT longer synonymous but much higher-resolution tools, synonymous with regard to movement.
Go of such a Resolutionin DCT, DWT, the classic effects to a significant increase in (classical) DCT block formations.
In addition, the current fine motion resolution in the relatively coarse grid data is drawn and lost.
The transition of H.264 in the DCT-based coding should be simply avoided if the improved quality wants to retain.
And of a higher compression can be synonymous only conditionally, because the codec simply work better and for an identical or even better result in significantly less bandwidth required.
As in H.264 at 16 Mbit is required in MPEG2 to achieve the same quality around. 24 Mbit / s bandwidth.

@ 3xman

What does actually the Kodak manual for playback?
I know now the camera, but they will not participate so synonymous sell its recordings anywhere you can see.
How is it built on the display?
What is the output part and what do you use to like to see?
there were some CD (DVD) with some drivers on this?

Antwort von Martin Dienert:

Hello Wolfgang (WoWu)

you have quite naturally, because it is theoretically. And when a practically synonymous with the necessary facilities available.

To all who read here:
I extend my statement a little:
Quote: The Neukomprimierung the video quality loss always brings with itself. The question is whether you see it. Since I am strongly of compressed video (in H.264 MOV container) to less compressed DV - Video conversion is for me (and on my devices), no visible difference in quality (this is the file is much bigger, "compressed" I refer here on the file size).

But now the practice.
My PC (2.8 liters AMD with 512 MB Ram) is with a video card plus software (DV500, Premiere 6.0) specifically for computer hardware equipment. This is a fluid work synonymous with the use of securities as possible to preview relatively little needs to be rendered. For my hobby-use video editing projects (te) I use the material of two DV cameras. The goal of my projects is usually a video DVD, the entire video material must therefore be encoded again. So far, so good.
Now I bought a camera, with the ulterior motive synonymous with video clips in the video project to use. This will remain the exception.
The camera saves its video files in MOV format (H.264 compressed video, audio, 8-bit mono uncompressed). These files with Premiere, I can not open even though I do with the media player can play. Probably still uses the Vfw Premiere interface. Can I import the MOV videos with AVISynth is quickly out of memory and the handling of the program is tough. I Convert the videos in uncompressed video (or synonymous Huffyuv) I lose the real-time properties of my cutting board.
I will therefore only the intermediate step, the camera video to DV format. And as I said is a quality loss for me not (or only slightly) are visible.

Should there be better ways, I am of course learning.
But I am unwilling for my new camera (expensive) hardware to buy.

@ Martin

Please versteh'mich as synonymous not wrong, it should be with the best will really be no criticism of the workflow and to criticize me is really far away. Frightened, I was only slightly above the general procedure, of DWT and DCT after she simply did not leave uncommented so because, in another context, of course, the impression may be wrong. I have afterward synonymous then seen that it is a camera is (I said yes, I know the camera) and am now of course synonymous not so sure how the format actually is built. To that extent I would have this research course, can only synonymous. (Ash on my head)
So, take it to me please do not crooked, it should really only be a comment that such changes are very problematic.

Hello,

So erstmal sorry. Have little time and am still in the stress. But am now back s.Thema. Since I am not angry but I understand your tray is not really Chinese.

S.Kodak have written and received the following reply

/////
Thank you for your e-mail regarding the playback of video files to their digital picture frames.

The stories of these problems occurs when a false video - and / or a wrong sound codec is used. Even if only one of the two codecs are not the specifications of the picture frame may be sufficient cause, the whole file as an unsupported file format is rejected or any errors occur during playback.

Kodak Digital Picture Frames support the following video file formats:

1. Audio Video Interleave (*. avi)

For the Audio Video Interleave format (*. avi) their digital picture frame supports the following video - and sound codecs.

Video: MPEG 4 (Standard - no modified variants), MJPEG (no modified variants such as DIVX or XVID)
Sound: G.711, PCM, MP3 (no DTS or Dolby Digital)

2. Quicktime Movie (*. mov)

For the Quicktime movie format (*. mov) their digital picture frame supports the following video - and sound codecs.

Video: MPEG 4 (Standard - no modified variants), MJPEG (no modified variants such as DIVX or XVID)
Sound: G.711, PCM, ADPCM

3. MPEG - Moving Pictures Expert Group (*. mpg)

For the MPEG format (*. mpg) their digital picture frame supports the following video - and sound codecs.

Video: MPEG 1
Sound: mpeg (1 or 2 channel)

Please note that it is licensing reasons is not possible to file with the Easyshare software to convert and we are legal reasons not synonymous recommendation or support of coding programs from other providers available.

If you have further questions, we ask you to engage with us at one of the following phone numbers in contact. Please indicate when a call is the serial number of your frame or your customers / reference number.

With kind regards,

/////

What are digital picture frames?

So the software that is included is just about managing and storing suitable. Codec, etc., are not there.

Have now Premiere Pro. As I turn my files into a format that is good in Movie Maker but can handle most any visible loss of quality shows?

I deal with times the drum and try to upload file

Thanks s.Euch
