Frage von Pillermännchen:

There are in the U.S. a lot of subject-related videos on craftsmanship techniques.
As a DVD or, alternatively, a VHS video
Unfortunately all the NTSC format.
What do I need to be able to view s.Screen?

If so what with tolerable losses convert?

Hello Jens,

what do you mean with "screen"? - A computer is no preference which television standard is a DVD and has the most reasonably modern PAL DVD player and NTSC Television come with no problems.

How much more of a sticking point could be is the country code. "May" is the video again here or there must be a DVD player with country code 1 be?

Hi Markus,

Screen is, in the case of "Television" or (ungünstigerweise) synonymous "PC monitor".

What are the country code: No clue ...
Had I perhaps with the VHS edition better served?
What would happen in the case of the sticking point?
The television or the recorder?

Greetings Jens

The country code is available on the DVD or the cover note. When online shopping should be the country code - because if one has been awarded - synonymous in the description recognizable. Otherwise, ask look after. Many DVDs have no region code synonymous.

With VHS, there was still no country code, but during today's DVD players do not have problems with NTSC, can the (older?) VHS recorder show quite unrepentant. If in doubt, throw take a look in the manual of your VCR to playback NTSC clarified.

Whether the television could be problematic (and both in one DVD as synonymous with a VHS playback) should also emerge from the manual. PAL60 and NTSC 4.43, the device can even play when the player the video is not completely "einPALen".

First of all I would ask, in fact, since these craft DVDs ever have a country code. (The yes there is mainly for movies, in the U.S. earlier than in the rest of the world come to market.)

Even if they are encrypted, in Germany there are countless DVD player, the "code free" mode or are rebuilt. Just search for on eBay.
Most low-priced player you can even post code free turn, appropriate instructions can be found on the Internet.
