Infoseite // Nikon D7000 exposure time during the shoot

Frage von susy:

Hello
what happens if I live in view mode with my D7000 Belichtunszeit on the spot and then like 60 movies?

You take on something!

.....

Nee sorry but there are some users here ne D7000besitzen - which you can probably explain better.

But the fact is as far as I know that the cam is recording 24fps so therefore so would shutter settings of 1 / 24, 1 / 48, 1 / 96 attached

Well, there are actually far I know is nich with Nikon or Canon if 1 / 25, 1 / 50, 1 / 100

How does the set shutter acts on the Picture from you can read in WIKI> Motion Blur.

Conclusion if the Nikon only - in video mode - 1 / 30, 1 / 60, 1 / 120 permits then you can set like 1 / 60 - because the result should be ok even if the cam records only 24fps.

My opinion is ingrained and often posted

25fps
.............

1 / 25 = bad light and static objects
1 / 50 = default
1 / 100 = good light fast things
.............

Or to put it crudely: fps x 2 = optimal shutter value

*******************************************

To be fair to say this, of course, that there are some people who quite rightly say "Yes but that does even more with" i "and not" p "shots"

i = interlaced aka fields
p = progressive aka frames

*********************************************

I'll stay here and say cheeky - so 25fps * p * can be photographed with NEM shutter of 1 / 50!

Well, otherwise you could synonymous reply very briefly to your question where you "RTFM" typing - but if you had helped so I venture to doubt ;-))

but the 24fps does however on the sensor.
Why is because then the picture darker, if I, the exposure time higher recruiting? (When shooting)
The mirror is folded up so forever.

The user I have not found anything about it.

What will have to do with the folded-up mirror, I is not clear, but in principle applies in this point of video is the same as for photos, if you like leaving all other settings and reduced only the exposure time (that of the usual 1/50s to 1/100s), then the light is synonymous only half as long on the sensor. The logical consequence is on the sensor, less light s.and the Picture a stage darkens. Conversely, reached at an extension of the time of 1/50s to 1/25s twice as much light the sensor, so that the picture brighter.
In practice, this would look like this: You want to work with Aperture for example 4, to get a certain depth of field. Seems to now but the sun bright, so you at 1/50s Aperture 4 and would obtain an overexposed picture, you can - since you do not want to change the aperture - either with gray filters work or just you reduce the exposure time. This is for videos not as free as in photographs, since your film was going to jerk too short a time, but a reduction by one level or more is usually synonymous something critical. Alternatively, you can, as today's DSLRs (and Nikon in particular) operate over a wide area rather noise, synonymous with playing the ISO setting. If 1/50s Aperture 4 and would lead to an over-exposure 200 ISO, then go to Aperture 4 and 1/50s at ISO 100 and you get the same desired image brightness as with Aperture 4, 1/100s and 200 ISO. I hope you look through yet ;-)

So if I for example. with 1 / 100 movies at 24fps, but then the video is "sharper" or?
values with the ISO I work very much: P

Right. Whether at 24, 25, 30 or 120 fps, the shorter the exposure time, the sharper the frame with moving subjects. For a video is, however, because of the image impression not so desirable (because a certain amount of motion blur, the Eye of better), but if you plan from the material later, slow motion or tinker even still images, then a short time of its advantage.

Despite the slow-motion 24fps?

Antwort von Bernd E.:

A good slow motion requires a short exposure time and a higher frame rate, 24fps so far are certainly not ideal.

Sure you can so a nonlinear editing (editing program) say it should not hesitate to give the material more slowly again.

Then it may be of benefit if you choose a short exposure time. But quite specialized work

Haltt you better values first s.die Standard and use a (variable) ND filter

I film in dark environments more. At 1 / 30 and an aperture of 8.2 and ISO 100, the picture is never too bright

A 1 / 30 can lead to problems in our area ... Rather choose a 1 / 50 if possible.

And ISO 100 is so synonymous in a very low speed ... Since it is very rare in dark areas are too bright

This he says because it has the power grid frequencies other than as Ami in our country and it may come as neon tubes flicker at
