Hello,

SECAM-L and PAL-B / G, up to the nature of the identical color. In the DVD there are no synonymous SECAM more, but only PAL and NTSC. Once we thus SECAM recording to DVD burning, you have a PAL DVD.

PAL60-play recording on DVD, you get very probably a NTSC DVD, but since most devices in this country (unless they are too old), NTSC play it, should not be a problem.

What your friend look out for, are really only two things: The picture may not go through and it must be colored. Then he s.der TV card the correct setting. Perhaps the recording software synonymous directly in front of what they consider a video signal to detect said.

If I remember correctly, can be a lot Thomson videorecorder even the original NTSC signal, which in any case I would prefer - provided that the TV card can record NTSC synonymous. In the menu of the Thomson would be an appropriate option is found.
