Infoseite // PS 11 Pros, unreproduzierbares audio clipping on DVD

Frage von sh20:

Hi,

have a strange problem: I have a video without the original sound track, a few titles with Fade Effect and another on the overlay track and a music file (stereo and not overridden). If I have a DVD with 5.1 build, I have an estimated 95% of all cases the problem is that when playing the DVD in the DVD player a slight but well audible and annoying clipping (overdriving light) arises. It is absolutely no preference as to what various volume levels are set, synonymous happens in the lower part. If random times it went well with the proper preparation free of any noise, then the problem occurs at the next rendering (auxiliary files previously deleted) safe again. In his great project, I need weeks times without a hit sound bad to land. : - /

Did the Project of an hour to 50 seconds faster to try to be what the studio is interfering. But it is completely unreproduzierbar. Can someone of you the problem? In the preview in the studio the way, one hears no noise from the relatively good PC speakers when I finished the DVD instead s.PC reflected in the DVD player you can hear even slight noises. The error comes only when you create the new DVD, but it is not s.zu high Pgelwerten what you would normally just assume ...

Antwort von nomulus:

in KaufDVDs is the Dolby sound at-9dB.
Your course notes should be the same format.

Antwort von Markus:

An artifact similar to that of the clipping is audible when the sampling rate of the soundtrack (for example, 44.1 kHz) is not with the DVD standard (48 kHz) and match to create the DVD to be converted.

Hello, I am the thing now on the track ...

The clipping arises whenever the overlay track title or something appears (eg, Picture or title) and synonymous with effects on the normal track. Once the title, etc. "by" is clipping away at the sound astrein clear and clean. When Einblendeffekt on the original track, there is a little further with a crackling sound when the Effect is finished and the original image unchanged is shown. If I PCM instead of Dolby 5.1 surround use, then the clipping little or no audible, crackling at the beginning or end of a Einblendeffekts nonetheless.

In the beginning was not so (clipping and crackling synonymous with PCM). Now I have probably at least a little bit more precise clues, but the cause is still unclear. Somehow it seems to me the installation of "improper" used to. Otherwise doing anything but synonymous, only crashed 2-3 times. Will probably try to install over it ... : - /

If the sound is dirty, when in the timeline a bit to do more, then look, if you next to the Picture synonymous can render the sound. It might be that you usually only a sort of preview quality will get.

Hi Markus,
das hab 'I do not understand. Sound is always mitgerendert? Or do you render without extra Picture? Geht das überhaupt?

Btrifft all sounds (music) a 5.1-DVD or only the actual sounds / music, as Surround should be played? Because it is synonymous (mostly) in Music roars / clippt, which was deposited as a stereo ...

So, I've now solved the problem.
Thanks for your answers, but it is absolutely no preference as to whether the music file to 48 kHz or 44 kHz available and can be loosely synonymous to 0 dB or even go higher.

The problem lies with the rendering itself, and although s.Hintergrundrendern. As long as the Hintergrundrendern not completely finished, I may render the actual process of creation and the ISO file or DVD does not start. If so, then emerge s.den transitions and effects, at the beginning of the "Hauptrenderns" not yet hintergrundgerendert were this stupid clip. And although I've set the options that always the whole movie to render. Studio this setting seems deliberately to ignore. Strangely, I had the problem synonymous if Hintergrundrendern was off.

The only thing in my studio installation to a perfect result is: Hintergrundrendern activate and wait until the timeline above all green bars have disappeared (see screenshot). Then the movie and the actual rendering begin -> No more clipping. And that is now reproduced.

Synonymous This explains why the first tests on DVD at the beginning of the project was no clipping, as the Project but it was long and complex that no longer Hintergrundrendern had passed through before the actual rendering, started, as always, the clipping more often. And towards the end it was always there, because the ne Hintergrundrendern always took half an hour or so. And I thought logically that any element on the timeline in the back section of the project was to blame. What does that cost time and nerves ...

It amazes me synonymous, so that this problem is unknown ... but would affect all users. Well, perhaps it is synonymous the famous hardware conditions and it is s.meinem Calculator. :-)

Many greetings,
Steffen (the studio is no longer quite so awful there ;-))
