Panasonic HDC-SD9EG vs. Panasonic HDC-SD5EG

Question by Catalyst:

Hello,

someone has already camcorder both times in the hands with? In addition to the surround sound and declared 1920x1080p at 9er yes everything seems to be equal. I would buy me the 9s - because I think that the sound at the 9er is better - if my stereo synonymous ranks.

Is the Videoqwualitaet far worse than the one of HV20 or Canon HV30?

Thank you!

Answer by Catalyst:

And then what do you do with the surround sound?

Answer by Catalyst:

Hi!

I am long with the same issue and I've now ordered the SD5.
Since I never really could be confirmed that the SD9 really better in terms of picture quality, I thought the 130, - more cost to me not worth it.
I think my concerns for the SD5 is totally sufficient and at a price of 555, - you can (I think) of a super price / performance ratio speak.

Answer by Catalyst:

naja the SD9 has progressive scan - - that is the p - and further improvements - here have found an interesting comparison.

http://www.simplydv.co.uk/Reviews/panasonic_hdc-sd9.html

In addition to offering four HD recording modes (see the specs for the HDC-SD5 for more information), you now have the option to record in a 25P Cinema Mode, which is designed to offer a more "film-like" feel to your shots, especially when shown on a good HD display. Instead of creating frames that are made up of 50 alternate, interlaced, line scans totalling 1080, the SD9 alternate scans combines these into one "progressive scan" full totalling 25 non-interlaced frames. This mode is denoted here by 1080/50i to 1080/25p s.opposed ( "1080i"). This is a major new option which has not been featured on previous Panasonic AVCHD camcorders.

Another new feature is the Face Clear mode, which is accessed by a dedicated button on the upper left side of the body. This feature is not that different from the equivalent feature now offered on Panasonic's own Lumix excellent models in that the camera's imaging system detects human faces within the frame and, after marking them with a box surround, then keeps track of them makes s.it automatic adjustments to brightness and picture definition in relation to the background - even when the whole shot is constantly changing. This is available in movie mode and also stills.

The 9s is only 100 euro more expensive ... I think the sound in the 9er is something better - 5 +1 yes micros have a spatial ton record. the micro is synonymous differently.

Answer by Catalyst:

I think it is nine - have found an interesting link:

Answer by PapnMartien:

Have me now but for the Canon HV30 of decision. ;-) The picture quality of Panasonic is far s.die Canon approached - especially as AVCHD only laboriously cut lets!

Answer by Jan:

Yes, that's synonymous with bad 3 chips each with 500,000 pixels, well, sort of is a 1-chip high definition camera with good resolution but with the advantage.
