Infoseite // Please, cut recommendation for Canon HV20

Since I am in a few days, the owner of a Canon HV20 would be times I wanted to ask me what you can cut-recommend.

Can I now, therefore, any firewire card and then get the editing software to do so? What recommends it for?

I am not up to date, because my system so far (about 6 years old, for normal DV) includes Adobe Premiere 6.0 with a fast Dazzle recording software and firewire card (not a standard firewire controller, you need special drivers and is running not synonymous with other devices).

For HDV, you need above all a fast calculator.
It takes longer hold everything as with DV. I use an Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 and the processing takes longer as HDV DV with a P4 3.6 Ghz

Is no longer the same PC. Hab meanwhile AMD X2 5200 with 2 GB Ram.
