Infoseite // Problems of converting DivX to DVD

Frage von Fabse:

Hello everyone!

following situation: I have several DivX/AC3 video files that I try to transcode DVD-ready. For most it worked without problems with Nero Vision 4, but some NV crashed.

My second try was the file with VirtualDubMod erstmal calculated by Direct Stream Copy new permit, but so synonymous NV fell off (and I believe that Nero next time something) came.

Did it then the new file with DVD2SVCD tried transcoding (with TMPGEnc as the encoder), but when you mux an error has been reported. Have I created the audio - and video track, then a closer look.
The audio track is perfect for the video track but there's the following problem: If I want to play them is an incorrect time shown (min 17 instead of 42.).
Strangely, however, seem to be present all the scenes and play synonymous in the correct speed.

Has anyone ever had a similar problem?
Or can someone give me a hint how I can stretch the video track "?

Thank you for the effort and sorry for the perhaps somewhat confusing report, but it's late ...

Antwort von Markus:

Hello Fabian,

I once had a similar (!) problem (see problems with soundtrack). Not every compressed format can be freely converted into any other format. Some compressions (eg synonymous DivX) is a digital one-way street, the consequences of the high compression may not be irreversible.

The course helps you not your concern, but perhaps still logs on to someone else?

Hi Mark!

Erstmal Thanks for the quick response!

What surprised me is that it worked in most media files without problems (it is) by several episodes of the TV series Stargate. Only a few episodes of Season 3 zicken rum.

Well, maybe someone else knows what else must I stopped to purchase a DivX-enabled DVD player ... : (

Until it

Antwort von Fabse:

Those consequences could be iumgewandelt with the tool "DivxToDVD" Of vso. Then, there are no problems when further processing.
