Hi,
I will soon grow a SonyHD-CX 550VE. Who has had experience in particular in relation to the transfer to the MAC OX 10.6 and Final Cut 10.4. The camera, despite price unfortunately only USB 2.0 and no Firewire port. In what format your records with you and everything is working when cutting in Final Cut?

This is not a question of price, but is s.Format that receives the Camera: AVCHD (the Final Cut Pro to edit the way, converted to ProRes) is generally transferred in with USB, so no Firewire port needed. But to what Final Cut Pro version are you with your question? "10.4" would be more of an operating system.
