I have material of an NTSC DVD with Nero Vision so exported, so I can import in AE (or directly the DVD is unfortunately not possible because the film is only 1 frame long ...)
Has worked wonderfully, now have DVD MPEG VLC and it may be synonymous wonderful play, but AE (CS3 - Mac) shows some frames (only every few minutes one, but irregular) as a completely red surface. The same frame same file in VLC is quite normal.
Footage also reload or replace the same file again changes nothing. The red frames remain synonymous always s.derselben body ...
Somebody has an idea what this could be related?

I would be interested to know how you it with Nero Visioon exported searched; exact setting and codec. AE may have problems with the codec, take a look in a different format.
Can, for example, Gordian Knot, which is very good DVD rips.

Mpeg DVD, NTSC, good quality sound in PCM, rest auto ...

Bitrate, codec and direct (I know such a - if it is one, forgive me).
