Infoseite // SONY HDR-HC1 MAINTENANCE?

Frage von HDJunkie:

Hi together,

I have a SonyHDR-HC1. The piece is still good as new, so to speak, I have it, since I use the camera in October 2005 until anden have so far only very rarely used (in total about 10 HD-recorded tapes).

This is synonymous to do something that I was forcefully warned, the Cam virtually nonstop to use any cheap and Tapes einzuwerfen, since the drive could be damaged.

Basically I just SonyDVM 66 HD tapes used before.

Now my questions:
What damage can s.Laufwerk arise despite correct treatment? Do I have tapes of cleaning time to time use? Will the image quality with the age of the Cam, despite the best HD tapes and dust-free environment so bad? What is truth s.dem rumor that is not a tape several times for a recording to use and it is true that the forward / rewind the sound / picture heads "damaged"?

I would be really happy if you have some time, to answer my questions!

Lieben Dank!
Benefit to Sound / Video Heads

The more the drive is used, the higher the wear. At 10 the issue of tapes can certainly remember the drive hours counter in thousands of units.

(1) wear and tear.
(2) No. Unless, of course, drop-outs occur. I still will not happen, I am using synonymous the HC1 since August 2006.
(3) No, why should this be the case?
(4) Schlau Meier spells, or just fanatics. You can with your new bands used as synonymous proceed as you want.
The tapes are not quasi "formatted" by the video head.
(5) No, that is solder.
I have a Video8 cam from around 1986, very much so recorded and played back, never had a cleaning cartridge is used, all sorts of tapes across the range of mixed use, and extremely rare drop-outs found.

Video heads are made of metal, plastic tapes with Metalloxydbeschichtung, extremely smooth. As long as you're not thousands of head (business) hours have collected, you will remember nothing of abrasion.

Movies, film whatever you want, and do not worry because of the wear and tear: the Cam is more technologically outdated, as you'll create the abzunützen!

Greetings from the viewfinders.

Another tip: the "Zoom lever" is really just for the zoom while filming used, otherwise only the multi-function ring s.Lens.
The potentiometer is a s.Zoomhebelchen Mist and quickly worn
