Infoseite // Seeking such a codec;)

Frage von bigtitsmember:

Hi!

I guess my problem is generally known.
We have the help of a camcorder with a film rotated.
This was by DV-AVI (197MB uncompressed moved per minute of film) at the plate. This file was after 60 minutes with 12 GB of high raw material length. Then the 12 GB file with the help of Adobe After Effects has been de-interlaced. The resulting file is 99 GB in size. Everything still uncompressed and niergends only one loss in quality.

The 99 GB file has now been edited in Sony Vegas Video 6.0a. After the first minute was ready, cut it once did wiur rendering.

We now proceed simply assume the film is finished is about 25 minutes and can be rendered on a format, which precludes a later revision. It should be a format which utilizes quiet for about 25 MB at maximum quality to the full extent of a 4.76 GB DVD.

Resolutionist "720x576"
PAL "25,000"
Pixel Aspect Ratio 1.4568 (NTSC DV Widescreen) "

It now just needs a codec ...

I mean, of course, "which for 25 minutes"

Worse workflow, wrong codec.
You import into a DV editing program (which comes out with the 12 GB).
Then you cut (you are around 5-6 GB). Individual clips (a few MB) you can now import in AAE, for any compositing or effects that you fetch you back into your editing program. The finished movie exportierst you, the way he is, as DV in AAE in order to deinterlace. The latter makes sense only if you have a good deinterlacer plugin (search), as the basic tool in AAE costs too much quality. Deinterlace is worthwhile only for Web films.
The entire film exportierst you as Mpeg 2 with 8 Mbit / s, not VBR. That's it. Size is no longer to be optimized Files: Almost 2 GB.
That with the 99 GB uncompressed and is a misunderstanding. DV is already highly compressed. The material is not improved by an animation or similar codec. Stay natively in DV.

Is not there ;-) At a pinch, can still tap screenshot each frame using (eg, as in the
