Hi Folks
the following problem:
I got a whole set of DVDs (probably on one of TV serials VHS) has been dubbed. Unfortunately, without chapters and menu.
Is therefore difficult to pounce on the individual episodes ...
I plan to create new DVDs, with menu and chapters (I'm with dvdauthor).
I have tried this:
With Nero Vision imported the VOBs, trimmed to follow and saved as a DVD mpg. But then everything is re-decoded, and the last.
The burning of the things with Menu is no problem.
Question: Is it possible to decode?
With what prog you can import the VOBs are (already circumcised MPGS) and synchronously comfortably? Then, to the authors directly to DVD?
Or how you would do?

The fact is, unfortunately, you have to decode the VOBs

Actually, one would expect of an authoring tool that you previously checked whether the selected bit rate of the DVD-Auth-program the bit rate in the corresponding file already.
NERO makes the NIE and always decoded.
Attempt something of Adobe or ULEAD.

In Ulead's DVD MovieFactory can this DVD / VOBs load ( 'DVD edit', or 'edit' it is called there), FB internal converts it back into the original MPEGs. This can bring in a FB timeline, crop, combine new authors and re-burn (if the MPEGs in compliance with standards is rendered not new). Older versions of FB-mW version is the newest 4 - gets you about 20 ¬.
