Infoseite // Senior friendly format conversion with remote controls

Frage von sonni:

My mother (73) needs a new Television. However, because they want to preserve their independence as long as possible, but not with the new technique can handle so well, I'm looking for a device with Fernbedieung, in which the possible conversion of the format of a separate switching point of the Fernbedieung of 4:3 to 16: 9 is selectable. Surely it is not the only senior citizen who has problems here. If not formatgerechten shipments to interfere with the black stripes. In the models we looked at, is the only adjustable conversion submenus. Does anyone know one or more models, where with a single button the change is feasible? Thanks in advance, sunny.

Hi sonni,

Give your mother a chance yet and write down exactly what point they must choose from the menu. She can bake cakes synonymous to recipe and menu are similar but, is it??

Greetings cutaway

Virtually every reasonably modern (LCD) Television has a "Scale Mode", in which, regardless of native transmission format, always have the entire (16:9 -) display area is filled. Yes, in the few surviving 4:3 broadcasts which are then shown to hold horizontally wide they can get used to but it amazingly fast and then a little more (annoying) strikes! That would be easier to try to make as your technophobe mom various buttons on the remote control clear.

I know what I'm talking about when I advise you to not want to upgrade the mother kenntnismässig, but rather a universal right (though possibly slightly suboptimal synonymous bypass) to find solution! My mother is 80 and I get regular stiff neck hair and a green neck suppositories when I told her the least (New / Anders-sitter-Although-in-principle-same-what-you-but-just-impossible-as-Such-Detect -Can) would like to introduce s.PC, mobile phone or just the TV remote control. - Do not do it! Do something that ALWAYS funzt without anything to switch or not at all be considered! ;-)

How often that comes before or since, that you have to change the format? The whole public broadcasters and most private synonymous shine but for standard, so that the tuner automatically switches between 4:3 and 16:9. Only very rarely even get some movies in letterbox format, but this is real exceptions.
So long as man with DVB-S, DVB-T and DVB-C receives, I do not really see the problem.

My father (82) has a Television with DVB-S tuner, and because the works properly. to cope with the few letterboxed shows he is still with bars all around must look, (this happens maybe once every two weeks). We have tested the car synonymous zoom (where the Television zooms basis of the image content itself), but that was just annoying.

A manual format change is needed now almost exclusively the poor pig, still using analog cable TV. But in conjunction with a modern LCD television which is not recommended even for quality reasons. And having now almost all television have one or more DVB tuner built variants, the use of analog reception is hardly necessary.

Do I look the same. You need an easily workable solution. The closer the handling s.den old Television inspired, the better.

If you have digital reception, the automatic switchover works of 16:9 to 4:3 in the appropriate setting of the TV, because you need never endure breitgezogene broadcasts. (Unfortunately, many Television s.Werk or by the technician on the "Breitzieh default mode" because this is to prevent a "burn" the Pillar Strip. Luckily, you can stop this nonsense but with all TVs anywhere.)

Who analogue (cable television) has had, from Breitziehen anyway, because there is always yes 16:9 broadcast as 4:3 letterbox, so there would then be synonymous breitziehen 16:9 programs including black bar. Instead of Breitziehens you would stop here rather a solid 16:9 zoom lens and then 4-3 but would cut off shipments up and down.
So you should absolutely avoid analogue in combination with 16:9 TVs.
