Hello,
someone has the Sennheiser MKE 400 bought or tested? I have a Canon HV 20 and such a logical way for a micro. The Rhode Videomic would be the alternative for me, but it is surely much higher than the 400th MKE
I film mostly in nursery school or group of circus performances.
Through a help or tips I would be very grateful.
The test in the video magazine, I unfortunately missed

zum Bild zum Bild My first thoughts about this: The sound is fantastic, I would have hoped that this baby in spite of good test reports are not expected. Results after the first test on SonyTRV 900:
decided louder than the internal Micro, sophisticated, noise-free sound, weak bass response, and therefore preferably used for voice recordings. Directivity noticeable but not extreme.

I have the Sennheiser MKE-400 with the HV20 and tested with my Sennheiser ME 66 directional micro compared. In short, the great size, directivity ok, but the sound a bit thin - and in the level position "+" quite a lot of camera noise.

the first 30 days with the MKE 400 are to be had and I now send as defective. I have in front of a recording a new battery is inserted and after a short time, the battery indicator light on the microphone. This was a very fieser pitched sound to be added. A new Battery and other Camcorders synonymous changes nothing. Time watching what the service says and how long it lasts.
Otherwise I was very satisfied so far with the Micro.
