Sony FX1 - NTSC <-> PAL for beamer projection

Hello!

I have gained me roughly a year ago as the FX1 PAL version. The problem now is that all graphics cards and presentation programs that I use the footage as well as beamer are trimmed to 60 Hz. This represents an interpolation and so unsightly Ruckeleien. Although there are several conversion programs, but provide no really satisfactory results ...
The solution would, of course, an NTSC model or the professional version of this camera was. According Sonyläßt the FX1 is not synonymous from the plant to switch to NTSC.
Nevertheless, the question: Is it possible to convert a PAL to NTSC FX1-FX1?
If someone happens to have a NTSC and PAL would like to swap them :-))

Thanks for Eurre answer!

I'll crazy! So far I have always read from the opposite case, that someone is on vacation, "accidentally" a (cheap! Bought) NTSC camcorder and now would rather have a PAL model.

Just looking

Have you already tried out one FX1 in the 60-Hz version? Actually showed the better pictures in the projection?

Reply synthflut:

Yes, I projected 60 Hz - Movies: The little stuttering when zooming or fast movements were not before ..

Reply beiti:

I still think that the problem in the used reproduction technology (graphics card, etc.) is situated. It would be ridiculous if 50 Hz movies could not be smoothly projected. The problem that might otherwise be quite a lot of people. ;-)

Reply superloony:

The problem lies in the claim that one has.
Definitely have this problem synonymous people who - for whatever reason always synonymous - 50 Hz to 60 Hz must hochinterpolieren films. Certainly, there are many algorithms and many tools that can more or less well (online or offline). But the fact is that it is always better to project a 60 Hz - Film synonymous with 60 Hz.
So I now just looking someone who has the FX1 - versehentelich or intentionally - bought as a NTSC model to replace my PAL-FX1 to ...
I need to stop the film to 100% only for projection - I sell them or do not s.Fernsehsender not DVDs like this ...

It has always amazed me, how few people noticed this problem until 50/60 Hz. Depends perhaps synonymous with the fact that they hold the very first HDV with a massive look like? Or rather the fact that we have learned to perceive it as normal? Probably the latter.

The correct Lösungweg but is less exchange with the FX1, but vision devices to look for that can correctly handle internal 50 Hz (and not just go with 60Hz and jerk).

We were synonymous already discussed here:
http://videotreffpunkt.com/thread.php?threadid=1744&boardid=46&styleid=6

Stipulates that the Philips is one of the few devices that does not exhibit this behavior - as my tests showed. It's just a question that the internal LCD or Plasma 50 Hz can correctly handle import (to which all devices).

So take: FX1, are with a test strip on fast panning on it - and play in Media Markt etc.. So you can find out these devices do not have this problem.

Ah yes, the claim: the costs to be Money. The said Philips is the same time was more expensive by about $ 1000 than comparable devices. I have yet synonymous rather then bought a cheaper plasma, the stop a bit jerky. One should not do so anyway soo many pans during the shoot ...
