Hello,
I have the following problem: My Date with the SonyHC17 videos I can not with the Movie Factory 2 even with Nero Vision Express dub on my PC () via Firewire, because no recording device is detected.
What I find is just confused, that MovieFactory showing my camcorder for 2-3 seconds when I joined this just s.den PC via firewire and then announces at once that no recording device can be detected.
Nero recognizes the whole time about anything. The Sony software I installed. The Sony website synonymous took me no more next piece.
Even the firewire patch of MS, I've already installed and it does not change s.dem problem.
Can someone help me here please?

deredinger hi, try to with a different firewire cable. I had first one that has not transferred to the ton. only the film. in my present comes over everything. resolved with only one .. quality. There is apparently no filmer no probs.
