Hello,
(In one of my SonyTrinitron preview monitors, PVM-9040ME) is fired, the test image. Can you fix this yet? I was thinking just a few days, white run, so that the monitor is cleaned ". But I am not sure if not then know that is burned.
Can someone help me there?

In principle, one can achieve with the representation of white at full brightness even some relief. However, this is at the expense of the overall brightness of the monitor, but this is better than an immediate disposal ;-)

Is it better if I monitor the "white-repair" or switch to full brightness is no preference?

The brighter the picture, the stronger is the input or Ausbrenneffekt. Ifs in a hurry, then I would turn up full of contrast and brightness. However, you will complete the burn-in no case can be reversed.
