Infoseite // TV Recording mpeg to divx

Frage von loneranger:

Hi folks!

Sorry, I know my question here is something like this already a
few times I went, but as far as video editing another
Beginners and have become fairly it does not quite clever
- You are so so nice and look after me!

The idea is that if I do record from the television
And then with VirtualDub will convert to avi and DivX 6.4, I have a
Picture squeezed to get with two thick black borders
the sides. I've heard that it was with quadratic and
has to do non-square pixels and have found
that you can work around that if, instead, as in the Studio
Use 720 x 576 aspect ratio, which is 4:3, ie
either 768 x 576 or 720 x 540th Others say that leads to
that some players do not play the file, or just wrong.

Now my question: If one does so, will actually
something of nonsquare converted to square pixels
or of Pal to NTSC - say, leads to loss of quality?
And it's true that one can not play such shots everywhere.
And if so, where not? Only on television or on synonymous
Computer screens? And if it is: What aspect
you should take: 768 x 576 or 720 x 540?

Danke schon mal für Eure Hilfe!

Take Super and try it before s.klein clips from - but watch it please XVID.

With MediaInfo or GSpot can use the ratio of synonymous Check and then just set the appropriate values as you need them.
