Infoseite // The big challenge - cutting of divx with premiere

Frage von veit weitwinkl:

Hello,
have the following problem: I have divx files that I like to edit with Premiere 6.0 would again. as everyone knows, premiere, whether new or old so it has its problems. I then tried with virtual dub this film into another format umzukompriemieren ". Here again, the program spits out the neukomprimierten film only as a statuesque, no preference which codec I used to play works (which has not been virtaldub, visual stands. ton running normally).
had then with nem mpeg encoder as trying to save the mpeg, because the next turn, can be converted into VDub, or could, if they had the works.

nu me juten ideas are considered.
one of you wieß how the indestructible scheindenden divx'es still get small.

Thanks in advance!

What About the spit Gspot or MediaInfo to your shooting from (download: http://www.headbands.com/gspot/, http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/de)? Is your media player, the films back trouble?

Antwort von veit weitwinkl:

media info says:

Codec: DivX 5
Family: MPEG-4
Codec settings: BVOP NVOPEN
Bitrate: 995 Kbps
Width: 512
Height: 384
Aspect ratio: 4 / 3
Frame rate: 25 FPS
Bits / (Pixel * Frame): 0203
Interlacement: [ppf] Picture-per-field
Chroma: 4:2:0

So conventional player (eg windows media) to play the movie without any problems, just not stop premiere.

Well, to your Schnittprg I can tell you anything, but that VDub is able to play the file while software player can do so, indicates a codec issue on your computer, look here: http://www.slashcam.de/artikel/Tips/DirectShow-Merrits.html.
Personally, I would first look in VDub whether DivX5 or higher was found at all (menu-> Video -> Compression-> DivX5 available?). DivX uninstall older versions and install new if Xvid is installed synonymous uninstall this, then try again.
Should be able to import now, you can try it again in your Schnittprg synonymous, if not, try reading about Avisynth (http://www.avisynth.org/index.php?page=AviSynth+Deutsch)
or try another conversion tool such as SUPER or Stoik video converter. Output destination should be DV-AVI or MP2.

Hello,

I will not take you the courage to s.dem next problem to work and may yet find a way to. My personal insights with DivX had previously been rather sobering:

Does the DivX issue at all a solution?

Ne, to sink to the courage, I see no reason for the time being. When eating premiere (which I do not know), this format does not want, gets it's just DV-avi, but I would be very surprised if a Schnittprg could not read, and if it can not be an mp3 is probably a wav file (if need be synonymous separately) capture. All these things can be accomplished with good freeware, and if the film does not open VDub, while soft play is play him well's inconsistencies on the computer system. Incidentally, with Magix 2004 and 2006 can be Xvid / Divx easily import to me. But because of a lack of advice or do not work side aspect, is the circumnavigability, I would not change his otherwise satisfactory, familiar software.

Hello,
or) seek, in other words (again to the example with the cars:
There are cars that want to have premium fuel. Something else to whom you're providing, they will not work.
Other Cars Super swallow both normal and running as synonymous with both.
AAAAB: just because there are Opel or Mazda, which is normal to swallow it with a Mercedes or BMW car is not synonymous so ;-))

Premiere will just have Super.
The sooner you accept this, the more one has fewer sleepless nights.
