I have yet to find something, so I put images on import to 1 and count it a clip.

Series of images in VirtualDub load, set the desired frame rate (25/50, 30/60, etc.) and AVIin MJPEG (FFMPEG) output, which you can then make Edius Neo then correspondingly faster / slower and herzoomen out.
