Infoseite // VGA / Component cables vs. Notebook

Hello,

I have a VGA / Component cable. With this I wish my Dell notebook s.Television join.
If I use my camcorder with the Component cable is the problem.
But in my notebook always s.TV the message that no video is received.

I have a Windows notebook and a Linux notebook tested. Always the same result ..
At the notebook I always press the "Fn" - button and the corresponding F button so that the image output via VGA to take place.

Has anyone any idea what I'm doing wrong?
