it is already much has been written on this topic. However, nobody could tell me how the current best solution looks like.
It buzz words like Cuttermaran, TMPGEnc, FlasKMPEG (the list could be endless) in space.
Some is not freeware (tenor: do you have a Crac Astalavista for now!), Otherwise turn long outdated.
How do I now of one on my hard drive is original .vob file to a version of this cuttable. Vob file?
Background: Do only parts of the film and therefore wants to later convert the time of. Vob to. Avi save.
As should be converted. Vob as small as possible.
Ergo, I must convert them before you can cut.

the note on Astalavista I just received - I know they have not made.
Perhaps my question was unclear, but it's not about the mere conversion of. Vob in. Avi, but prior to cutting. Vob file into the important parts for me to convert the time to be shortened later.
