Infoseite // Verstaendnisfragen: ratio of CCD resolution Still image resolution

Frage von syntech:

I have in my new GS280 times the Photo function tested, and am very disappointed.

That brings me on to the first question: Are your camcorder to the photograph per se inappropriate?

I am interested in the why but synonymous, so I thought me on the subject.

My cam has 3 CCDs each with 800k pixels / pixel. The photos that I made were in maximum resolution. Now I think that is synonymous the reason why they are so bad, to say 'not really sharp' were. Presumably iher is highly expected, correct?

If I now assume that the context resolution CCD / Still image resolution is directly, but then would the 'ideal' photo format 1024x768 (or 1MP like Panasonic in other words, the resolution can not be otherwise obvious set).

For 1024 * 768 = 786,432 pixels. Fits beautifully with the 800k of chips (which are not added together, but insegesamt exist, as far as I understand it, synonymous if 3 x 800k writing ...).

Now the second question: I see the way or I Verstaendnisproblem here in the topic? I ask myself that, like Panasonic as a max. Still image resolution of 2048x1512 comes.

What is always synonymous with Panasonic 1MP resolution s.Stillimage understands this probably seems a bit high as well. Ok, then you can not change.

Although I have a Digi-Fotocam with which I am completely satisfied (which has 3 MP), but if with the camcorder and the still photos to class to get better, I must not always have it with. That's me in the last step. :)

That's right. A eierlegende Wollmilchsau can do everything, but nothing really. For camcorders, the focus is still in the video, so moving images with a specified resolution.

That is what many camcorder, because synonymous 3x 800k remain 800k. This is due, because the same pixels on each CCD only one base color for a particular pixel captured. Of three pixels is s.Ende one for which only the color and brightness so synonymous has been accurately determined.

This question is to answer the previous somehow superfluous. ;-)

Do me now viewed in detail, and the result is somewhat sobering.

Have a photo series with all 4 possible 4:3 resolutions made (3MP, 2MP, 1MP and 0.3MP) and in the two available levels of quality. Alas, in automatic mode. The setting options in manual mode, I do not particularly thrilling. Werds me but on occasion perhaps look again in detail. Think not that I am still very much rausholen can.

Bloed synonymous, I think that the dissolution s.sich not specified, but the MP, but no preference.

3MP = 2048x1512
2MP = 1600x1200
1MP = 1280x960
0.3MP = 640x480

Conclusion:
Only the two 0.3MP images are relatively low noise and thus need to be usable. Even 1MP Picture is noisy. Sure, now that I know of the resolution, no wonder synonymous. This would have beautifully with 1024x768 still worked, but with 1280x960 is the chip with a 800k is no longer made without high computation. : - /

Who are interested in case it should, I have the pictures of my Panasonic GS280 times put on line:

Quality 1 (good):

3MP
2MP
1MP
0.3MP

Quality 2 (medium):

3MP
2MP
1MP
0.3MP

At least in the quality level is not such a big difference, compared with the quite reduced Filesize. Since then if one can be synonymous with lower quality pictures. How much worse it is not, and the pictures are only about 50-60% as large.

Hint:
Take a camera to take photographs and shoot for a CameraLink:)

Your Cam has certainly synonymous a display, but then you'll probably not want to watch movies. Just because what goes, it must not go well or to be made!
