Hi,
I hope you can help me. Bin day of cable to satellite TV transition. Did my video - it is a bit older - s.den Dig. Satellite receiver of Hirschmann being connected, but he finds in the viewfinder no transmitter channel through which he broadcasts can absorb. What am I doing wrong? or is the recorder of SEG VCR 4200 is too old for modern technology?
Would be nice to me when one could give a tip.

normally this is no problem, you go by to Reciver Television. Then, importantly, is the second "way of Reciver with scat or SVHS out on the 2nd of Television and then to VCR or a cheap (ebay) Casablanca system for 100, - euro, then haste the images already in digital format. ....
Important is the second television, so you direct control of the recording did.

When tuning the VCR, digital satellite transmitters could find, you need absolutely no satellite receiver. ;)
If you've wired devices correctly (probably via scart), you can satellite transmitter on one of the AV inputs on the VCR recording.
Programmed changing channels (ie, automatic recording of different channels in absentia) will of course not. VPS are not synonymous, so let shots s.besten 5 minutes before start and 15 minutes after the normal finishing time, so really all it is.
If you really want to record programs easily, scrap the old VCR and Get a satellite receiver with hard drive. The program allows you easily and thus loss-free (!) Record. There are also additional features such as geile Timeshift (timeshifting television, so if you eg to the toilet need to press pause and then of exactly the place look more).
