Hi,
It all depends on what you want to cut it, at least for the HDV range from more than synonymous with ProRes 422 and you get no problems, it is synonymous dependent on what everything is to be calculated in real time. For easier cutting without many effects, ect. should be calculated in real time, a cheaper model synonymous enough.
