Infoseite // Which setting do for TV on DVD? Resolution, compression, etc.

Frage von Matze66:

Hello, I'm using a Panasonic NV-GS 300 and with the picture quality superzufrieden (when I connect the camera directly s.den TV). Now I wanted to draw a complete tape to DVD and watch them s.TV. I used Adobe Premiere Elements 2, but am not satisfied with the outcome. On the television, everything looks washed out and slightly blurred up. After capturing s.Daten there were about 12 GB on the HDD. Then I set labels, creates a menu, and finally, calculate all of Premiere can (took forever) and then the whole DVD with Nero 7 to burn. The result is determined ....
The data size was only 3.7 GB with 8 MB / s great. The Resolutionwar 720x 576 pixels. Strangely enough, the picture is cut off but at least right, what looks great man s.Titelbild immediately. On the PC all the way, looks quite handsome - is truncated synonymous nothing. I want it for TV but have been able to play and a perfectly ordinary DVD player. Do I have to because even with such a large image sizes, or there is sufficient work less? And if so, I lose not synonymous s.Qualität if I vielleciht go down to 352 pixels.

Mainly the pictures are sharp s.TV. Aaaalso, set what should I do? Oh, it's about about 1 hour movie.

Thank you very much

Hello,
a little more concrete, we should at a beginner who is just his 1st Posting writes, perhaps, be even if synonymous, the statement "I am not satisfied" somewhat spongy. Try it once:

1 hrs video on the hard drive = about 12 GB seems OK
An MPEG file with 8 Mbit / s encoding = about 3.7 GB is also realistic.
Issue with 720x576 is also true.

That the encoding took forever "is relative. A clue: 1-pass should take 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 hours, 2-pass twice as long. That on the television "all washed out and hazy" look should not be natural. DV quality will not get you, but it should already be nearly equal. Ergo there must have been somewhere herumgerechnet unnecessary. I guess as an entry that mglw. the original material with NTSC project settings were captured (more often) beginner's mistake. That would explain the blurred images and the long rendering times.
Verifiable times exactly your Premiere project settings, whether it really is DV PAL 720x576 lower field.

That your cover is cut off is because everyone Television diminishes the whole picture about 10% (overscan). You've got the title when creating the so-called essential. Comply with Title safe area, then it fits.

Hi Matze, You're a real rogue!

Well, if things can not go, you can give it a try another time with order and give "wsu a". Ifs again does not work, so do not come up with the idea to try one of the other of Stefan genatten term, because there could you swop a hit.

But that is dependent primarily on the calculator used. This can occur quickly at times somewhat weaker machine 5 to 10 hours or longer.
