Windscreens for HF100 (built-in Microphone)

Question by beiti:
April 2009

In RoVoTech there is no windscreen on the Canon HF100 and similar devices. This is understandable, because their microphones are very small and it s.Gehäuse Microphone around the little room there where you could attach to the windshield.

Does anyone still have found a solution?

Answer by deti:

Kannst ja a foam rubber drüber buckle. That probably looks a little funny, but it should work. Otherwise it to a favorable external Micro referenced.

First, because of the mini-shoe accessory is not so easy, and secondly it is one of the advantages of memory card camcorders just be that man with the internal Micro has no drive noise.

Because you're right. However, the internal Micro rare places where the sound comes from. Therefore, there are radio and Tonangeln - at least we do so ;-)

Thanks for the clarification. I was probably sick, as we in the Filmakademie durchgenommen have. ;)

I am simply and simply a matter of private (holiday-) films without making much effort to them, a directional micro aufgestecktes makes handling a lot complicated.
In my previous DV camcorder does the Velcro wind skins very well and always prevented the worst. I still hope that I find it synonymous with the HF100 somehow manage.

Answer by deti:

Hab grad a great solution for the HF100 very well with aufgeschraubtem WW-works: A normal Windscreens (approx. 30cm long) is behind the lens and wound below the built-in microphones knots. Finish is a windbreak, which is a real eye-catcher:

Looks really cute ;-)

Even if it does not fit the title:
1.Ist the original WW of Canon?
2.If yes, with how much quality loss you have to live?
3.How big is the image without and with WW WW?

Thank you

Yes.

Normally not noticeable, but in the full telephoto it's a very slight loss of sharpness. Comparison to the Raynox HD5050 is the Picture at Canon WD-H37II perfectly.

Thank you!

I think that could leave me in the beautiful shots possible ;-)

The image magnification is substantially!
