Infoseite // Wireless Microphone wireless: minimum distance to the interview?

Frage von Stillingianer:

We want regular short films (for the Internet) to create, in which a moderator spontaneously several people interviewed in front of the camera (with HAND-HELD Micro, not Ansteckmikro). It moves the team have been synonymous during camera here and there.

It tied with a cordless micro to work after the first rotation is pretty annoying experience. Presenter and cameraman must always coordinate their movements, the cable is always in your way.

Hence the idea to purchase a radio microphone. (In question are two alternatives for me of the estimated on-line providers Picture Country GTV-Gerlach from Langerwehe: a Micro AKG HT 40 recipients with PR 40 or alternatively a set of Sennheiser EW 135-P G2).

There, in the helpful accompanying information of GTV, but you will need a minimum distance of 3-5 m between the transmitter and receiver out. Is this a problem in interviews, because someone has experience?

For maximum flexibility when you work like Rotate the maximum wide angle. That would be closer but s.die people can approach (approx 2m). With 3 more feet and would need a longer focal, with less depth of field, etc.

Who has an interview with such situations and wireless experience?

Looking for example on street interviews with "Ehrensenf" shows me that there is working with micro-cable. The need to know is yes. If the old cable is probably the smarter solution?

Many greetings,
Stillingianer

Hello,

principle is the wired Micro always the safer alternative. There are always times of radio interference, which of course you can handle this in that the cameraman is not only the optical sound (level) but acoustically synonymous (Headphones) monitors.

But the minimum distance problems at the roadside surveys are available at any rate not Sennheiser. Anyway, I would recommend to the Sennheiser. There are synonymous the VJ set with receivers, and radio Ansteckmikro XLR Male to normal Wired Microphones (Sennheiser EW-100 ENG G2). Then you can type with one click between radio and cable change. This is very flexible,

One thing first: I have with wireless audio and not much s.Hut and can only speak from personal experience:

I work with a Sennheiser EW500 radio link. Minimum distance does not exist - at least I have no negative experiences.
Unlicensed problems if you want next to a glass or smooth wall interviews. Since there will be a superposition of delayed incoming radio signals, which is in my equipment sounds like a mix of echo and feedback. Kam but only very rarely and far less than that the interview is interrupted because a Hans-guck-in-the-air on the cable or stumbles full jug until he goes through half the store has cleared. I had enough of someday Vollpfosten the interviewer, despite the clearly visible, red XLR cable from the micro hand tear or twist my wrist. I would cable only in a few situations, such as Camera and inpatient hospital spokesman. That is my assessment of reason vs. radio. Cable.

There are certain venues synonymous interference, sometimes a specific frequency useless. So always take Headphones optical and never on the left VU-meter, because the signal could be extremely noisy or distorted even though the VU-meter shows a reasonable level.

So I look at tipp "maximum distance 3-5 m" ;-) sounds somehow more logical than minimal distance

Moin,

Minimum distance could be related to interference, as there is in my pocket Wizart wireless flash triggers. But is rather a half meters.
3 a.m. to 5 p.m. Maxim meter distance? I only Kenn of Bluetooth.

I would so watch Sennheiser Set.

Although Sennheiser recommends a minimum distance of five meters, a "clipping of the recipient to avoid, but in practice we had previously synonymous with shorter intervals, down to about a meter no problems.

Then you could with radio mikes, but not much to start! Distances up to just over 100 meters depending on local circumstances, already there.

In my experience, the minimum distance with the nonsense.

I work often at events (now on video, but formerly often used for the sound) and when I NEN soundcheck, so I've synonymous NEN handheld transmitter s.mixer used and was about 20cm away from the receiver, never had problems.

I use Sennheiser ew165 often a micro-hand about 30cm away from the receiver in order to make announcements. Problems arose only when the micro Massive reinforced by 2 carriers and a fire shield durchfunken had.

Before about 2 years, I have a moderation with a AKG wireless microphone WMS40er the series, and an older Sennheiser recorded. Most of the time, the sound only through the Sennheiser, AKG has the strikes. Generally I find the wireless connection of the series WMS40er not very reliable, it has me in recent years, often deserted. How good is the recipient of the bag I do not know, I had only the hospital.
I have a private Sennheiser ew100 set, which is very reliable in the radio link. The Sennheiser ew series, I can only recommend.
