For the purchased Cams Europe here I see no reasons of cost rise to such risks, as with Silver Support the whole action is free (was). I had my EX1 again after 5 days back.
With this timing failure may possibly an argument for an update to DIY.
The use of adapters cards for me is still somewhat suspect, because on the one hand the Overcranking with the increased data rate does not always work and is on the other, the flap of the card slot without Herumschleiferei (see here: http://www.glasseye.com.au/articles/sdassxs/shaving_kxs.htm) s.den SD cards can not be closed.
