XDCAM HD with 1440 * 1080
XDCAM EX with 1920 * 1080 (EX1 / 3), ie real FullHD true 16:9 and synonymous, not anamorphic. With the EX1 / 3 but can be synonymous an HDV-compatible format with 1440 * 1080 record!

Reply alexanderdergrosse:

so I am in XDCAM EX really need full resolution that might later on film can illuminate.

Or. another question or the question I wanted to ask you, the experience with HDV / FUllHD on film have closing date:

- Can the 1440x1080 resolution on film Optimal illuminate?
- Well, 25% lower vs. 1920. 1440, but there are some examples of films of the 1440 film ausbelichtet were (ie not a pure video)?

Thank you very much.

Reply B.DeKid:

Cloverfield
was with its Sonygefilmt - but I think EX1 or a Z1.

Reply Jogi:

Ausbelichtetes material SonyZ1 has been frequently used in good quality practices. From the EX1 gabs but probably already synonymous.

Reply alexanderdergrosse:

The Snub-Film is the latest example, with rotated ex1.
They want him to film illuminate synonymous, it was said.

Do you have a tip which films rotated in HDV (apart of just released on video) on film with enhanced HDV were times that I can look closer?

In http://www.imdb.com/ there are plenty of films produced with HDV.

"Project Gold", the documentary was handball with three SonyZ1 recorded.

Reply alexanderdergrosse:

So are quite a few films of 1440x1080 has been adapted to movies.

Reply PowerMac:

It is called "closing date" and not "illuminate".
Of course you need to take 1920x1080, so in XDCAM EX record. Otherwise you offer compared to the 1440x1080 resolution in XDCAM HD.

Reply Asta:

28 days later: MiniDV, to be exact XL 1 and XL 2nd With MINI35 adapter.
The most likely Prol but the compression of HDV, and not the image. The compression makes a color correction is quite complicated. Since DV was still thick on the other hand correctly. We compared times in the studio. XLH1, once recorded on tape HDV, DV and then s.Schluss nor HD-SDI out. HDV was defiitiv s.schlechtesten for Posproduktion suitable.

For the FAZ would I get a TGA sequence, recommend to the square-pixel format scaliert was. That looks s.Schluss s.besten, because you never know how good that makes the imagesetter.

Greetings!

The F23 is a 4K Cam synonymous. With such a synonymous works well!

Nope. the F23 is still HD 1920 * 1080. Only the F35 has more. But the HD synonymous thick enough. Especially in low-budgeted projects Postpro is often synonymous with 35mm in 2k instead of 4k made. Saves Money.

Greetings!

Sorry, hast recht. Have both types confuse!

Reply alexanderdergrosse:

I will and have before, 2-3 parallel cameras to use, with the EX in the best resolution, and the other in HDV (1440), but I have 25% less shame that I will most likely prefer to take two ex. Other hand, can be compared to HDV, XDCAM cheaper rent, and the tight budget in the indie-range. Well, HDV is still twice more in Resolutionals DV.

(For close-ups would parallel the HDV Cam run.)

Am firmly convinced that when the first drama ever to come better results, therefore, that the parallel Cam wants.
