Infoseite // XL2 or XH A1 for an expedition?

Frage von rasta:

Since I would like to shoot a documentary, I would like to know which of the two cameras make better recordings. Unfortunately I think the XH A1 no test reports. I liebäugle with the XH A1, because with her already in the HDV format can hold.

In advance ever thank you for your answers.

Normally I would say:
Come first in general depends on what content you in your documentary film transporting want.
But actually, the XH A1 in each area only advantages. They filmed the best synonymous DV-Picture, if you like non-HD resolution is so important.
For a film with landscape and urban images, and generally very composed camera settings you like I would in any case for XH A1 guess, because you like the HDV 16:9 format with its much more room for image-making there. It also offers you the advantage of a relatively low starting focal length (very weitwinklig) and 20x zoom.
The housing is compact and the handling is much better than the XL2 (which is almost exclusively on Tripod to operate properly, because the thing is Uferlos top - unless you build you back off a heavy battery).
The HDV version is also much more secure future, because at least in half a year (when the Hd-enabled discs are established) right of the HD boom started.
As with watching any SD Resolutionlangfristig in the tube ....

Antwort von @shao diese:

Of course, running the Blue-Ray discs on current DVD players do not. Bluy-Ray player, but conversely, all old-format disc player.

Wegem the Panasonic tapes:
They are obviously preferable to all others. Are better than the Sony HDV tapes ....
