 Antwort von Shao Diese:

've just seen that this can tmpegenc, is not quite freeware, but all affordable .....
as it is now, when I look at the avi file in tmpegenc encode, and then import into encore .... encore dvd can ever start something with ac3?
 Antwort von Axel:
Obviously you can Encore with ac3 (= DolbyDigital) was started, it encodes it even from Wav as the only restriction: 5.1, as DD is imported, but only stereo files within the program can be created.
 Antwort von Archimedes:

The Choice s.frei available AC3 encoders is not particularly large.
One possibility was until now always BeSweet (will not be more obvious next developed) or BeLight (later) to be used. Both use the GUI from the FFmpeg project came ac3enc.dll, but not quite is not uncontroversial ( "compatibility", "quality").
A better alternative has meanwhile HeadAC3he shows (using a modified ac3enc.dll).
Recently, however, there is still another synonymous and very promising AC3 encoder in this direction: Aften. This encoder also comes from the FFmpeg project, but is designed as a command line program and has already experienced some improvements. After my previous tests, it is the BeSweet solution in every way superior. Meanwhile, there are a few synonymous GUIs for it. Just try and listen. ;-)

 Antwort von camworks:

thank you, now have both.
what irritates me: where can both gui's determined that this wav now be left behind and the next wave front right and the next center, etc.?
 Antwort von Archimedes:

The sequence. I think currently it is still Aften with a ready gemuxten WAV file (eg, 5.1-WAV) feed. But there's so synonymous tools (eg WaveWizard). As far as I know, is the developer of Aften in the process to integrate this functionality. Aften I use mainly for the conversion of WAV (2.0) according to AC3 (DD 2.0).
As always synonymous, with the combination of Aften and BeLight is possible in any case. However, you need only take a couple of preparatory work, so you Aften inside of BeLight can use. Support for Aften that was recently added. ;-)
 1. You first need a full installation of basic BeLight. Under "BeLight beta version" ladest you look at the latest beta version (for example, "BeLight-0.22b9_P4.exe or BeLight-0.22b9_Normal.exe"). Once you install this. Included is synonymous installation of BeSweet, in the program directory of BeLight installed. So everything installed.
 2. Then you ladest under "BeLight daily builds" the latest (development) down. Similarly besorgs you look at the current bsn.dll (eg, "bsn_20060930.zip").
 3. The complete contents of the just downloaded version you copy into the existing BeLight folder (it will overwrite files). The bsn.dll you copy included in the BeLight folder (the existing bsn.dll will also be overwritten).
 4. Besorgs Then you have the latest version of Aften.
 5. The program file you copy aften.exe also in the BeLight folder.
Done. With BeLight you usnun the possibility, either with or AC3Enc with Aften an AC3 file to generate. To achieve a 5.1-sound to come, all you need to file under "File-Mux generate" button and you can already get started.

Thank you!

Time between a question ....
runs with you then the sound on a synonymous ext. DVD player.
I have at the moment so my problem and can only
the 5.1 sound s.Software player s.Calculator .... my SonyDVD Player
in the living room does not ....
 What is your workflow?
 Greetings, Dirk
 Antwort von Archimedes:

I can here only for the DD-2.0-Sound Speakers. And that is with me after Muxen of both audio and video software with the player as synonymous with the "Stand-alone DVD-players" correctly displayed (the display is that it is a DD 2.0 soundtrack is ) and play.
What software did you made Authoring?
 Antwort von DirkV:

Well, I'm interested for 5.1
 I've tried with different programs.
 Premiere Pro 2
 Nero
IFO .... no idea how it does next ...
Is everywhere synonymous 3/2.1 Dolby Digital display ...
But the only thing so far even from the living room device came
 was a brief crackling ...
As I said with the org. Pictures from my DVD camcorder is ...

 Antwort von Archimedes:

I will take a test with a 5.1 sound make. ;-)
 Antwort von DirkV:

That is super nice ....
Schon mal Danke in advance ...

So, I have now with BeLight a DD-5.1-sound. And although I have one after another to the individual channels, a signal of 5 seconds put (FL, FR, C, SL, SR, LFE). The resulting AC3 file I then with an elementary video stream together (with mplex1). The test with an external DVD player and a receiver went flawlessly - from each of the targeted channels came out a bit. The only problem was that of my pre-order (FL, FR, C, SL, SR, LFE) was not observed.
 Antwort von Archimedes:

The previous guest contribution comes incidentally of me. ;-)
 Antwort von DirkV:

Thanks .... did it now synonymous hinbekommen ...
BeLight is really awesome .... I had previously Streams
 probably not quite as compatible.
 Greetings, Dirk
 Antwort von Archimedes:

Even a small addendum. As it turns out that the results of BeLight produced Mux file using Aften of an incorrect mapping of the channels. Feeds the same Mux File AC3Enc the encoder, so the correct channels.
Mux-File, as of BeLight has been created:
 "C: \ Temp \ 5.1-Test \ audioFL.wav"
 "C: \ Temp \ 5.1-Test \ audioC.wav"
 "C: \ Temp \ 5.1-Test \ audioFR.wav"
 "C: \ Temp \ 5.1-Test \ audioSL.wav"
 "C: \ Temp \ 5.1-Test \ audioSR.wav"
"C: \ Temp \ 5.1-Test \ audioLFE.wav" When using Aften of the order of the channels look like this:
 "C: \ Temp \ 5.1-Test \ audioFL.wav"
 "C: \ Temp \ 5.1-Test \ audioFR.wav"
 "C: \ Temp \ 5.1-Test \ audioC.wav"
 "C: \ Temp \ 5.1-Test \ audioLFE.wav"
 "C: \ Temp \ 5.1-Test \ audioSL.wav"
"C: \ Temp \ 5.1-Test \ audioSR.wav" In Aften, this was the generally accepted standard. So it is no fault in front of Aften. BeLight the circumstances must be adapted accordingly (different interpretation of the sequence of channel AC3Enc and Aften).
