I work with DVDstudiopro 4 ... have a book and a learning DVD consumed and with the knowledge I have now, I almost believe that my plan is not technically possible ...
... but hope you can teach me better, because I have a DVD menu just so wanted to implement:
- Animated wallpaper
- 4 buttons (menu items) on the left side
- When a button is selected should have a + highlightbroken get on the right half of a text explanation on the button / menu item to appear
This text explanation would be even better if they are pure text rather than a gray background area had (or just a photoshop file would be) so that it better from the animated background is removed.
do you think is the dvd-specifications possible? And if so ... HOW? :)

The text must be part of the button highlights, ie it is limited to three colors. No clue how the DSP, but probably you need to highlight the level editing in Photoshop separately.
The real problem is the moving background. If he were static, so you could be just a second, until the text exactly the same menu with the buttons link. But the bill would be very visible (but what they conceal, for example with a short Einblendeffekt)
You need to stop deciding what is important to you: Elegant, clean text antialiaster or no interruption of the background videos.
