Hello dear community. 've searched your forums but not much found. by the variety of contributions, it is difficult to find suitable subjects. I have a jvc gr345 camcorder and filmed a lot. I've bought a new hard disk and thus enough space.
I use a win xp home edition. sp2 is not installed in my knowledge. in the device manager I find this entry does not exist: IEEE1394Bus host. what can I do?
the pc was once a complete system of media market. therefore have only a restore cd. why is firewire not recognized and thus not synonymous my camcorder? I must say that I've swapped the graphics card. is synonymous but already some time ago. is no longer the complete original package.

Exchanged at the graphics card will most likely not lie.
Problems when connecting via firewire occur. In general, it is a vigorous fumbling until it expires.
It may be helpful, all model names scrupulously in the problem report to write. Maybe someone knows the hardware and / or roof looks similar reports.

Disappearing on-board devices can be found mostly in the BIOS again, where they are Dissabled.

can I change the setting synonymous under the hardware manager adjust? would be grateful for any response. firewire is onboard. so far there have been synonymous not used. thank you in advance! Antispy I uninstalled.
