Infoseite // general question on the use of a Sliderns

Frage von Arno_K:

A general question about using a Sliderns: I want to shoot a scene in which a person in the picture of left to right goes. To give the scene a little more space I would use a light travel camera.
Now my question: If this camera ride of right to left (ie counter to the movement of the person) or to the camera with the person "move along"? What do you think works better, there are rides for Camera "ground rules"?

If there is a parallel drive, I would definitely go opposite to the direction of the person, then you sure they really pretty long in the picture ...

Huh? Probably the other way around, right?

If the person is to be shown in the picture too long, the camera can be moved in parallel and in the same direction as the person walks! If the person is to be of any length in the picture, the camera would then with the same speed next to the person to be driven, as it is running. Is it really logical!

Sorry, I can not quite understand the question anyway! It is not a question of what "works" better, but what you want with the recording STATEMENTS! Makes the person what they should be on display during the frame, she says what she needs to for some time or is it simply tumb through pictures or what? This will determine yet how long they MUST be in the frame and which in turn depends on what you have to do with your camera to achieve this attendance time!

And camera movement just to the ride's sake, because you HAVE a slider, apparently without any understanding or knowledge of the need for such a narrative, is absolutely unnecessary gimmickry and useless knick-knacks!

Camera movements do - properly placed - of course makes sense. (Whether Steadycam, crane, dolly or camera-slider system).
In this case, a slider replace a Dollie times, but allowing synonymous recordings from the frog perspective or in areas where you can not build up Dolly (for example, in the mountains, tracking shot through a car) or the like. He is also producing a cheaper alternative to depth (by changing the perspective).

When is a driveway or Wegfahrt makes more sense depends entirely on the statement you want to achieve.

Greetings!

Where here just ne thread has erupted over camera shots.

What statements can point out camera movements?
So for example the back-propelled and which entfernd

Or containing the above the offset, or with the actor moving.

It is clear that not all possibilities can be discussed, but perhaps a pity so few and one of NEN to Basics.

Would be very interested.
