Is there a RGB number for a transparent color?
How do I set the background color so that it is transparent?
Hope someone can help me with my first steps with the software.

There are no banners Color -.
What you would then sehn? = Salt in the cable TV ;-)

Everything has an alpha channel is black, is then a "level behind" one sees this and black is gone.
A Transparent Picture / Color, is a level in your visibility abgeschwacht üb it as a white / black background or a video / picture is laid.
"Pink Glasses Effect" as an example, or the ever popular "film look" with banners can EFX reach certain levels, such as "Scratches / film grain".
You must kucken times, somewhere you can the visibility of a video track in Vegas setting.
Think this is what you are looking for. As the saying goes, either you like someone who is using Vegas, or you look in the help / manual times for transparency / visibility / Alpha channel, etc.
Note; crossfades are gewerkstelligt, like a mixer halt songs mixed together.

What do you want to ever do? If by the text of the background show through, through the colored background or a little movie or show through, the film on a colorful background of the subject and text transparent?
A text as an "abdominal binder" in the news? Left to right becoming increasingly transparent and abdominal binders to text?
With the set up is not quite understandable. But freu Dich ever: with Vegas is not that difficult :-))

Hi Andreas, thank you for your reply. A brief explanation of what I want. Hope I can make myself understood. I'm still new in this field. On the video sequence, the text for a time to be seen. So while the sequence runs. The text should be easy in the foreground and behind the video sequence expire.
Actually easy. Or?
Attached a screenshot of the setting for this.
Maybe you have some tips for me how to do this.

Hi Andrew, have solved the problem. The text must not be in the same track, but in a track about it.
In the help you can find this information, unfortunately not.

The relevant information you'll synonymous in the Movie Studio Help file, but may not necessarily under the keyword "Title" or "text". It is a fundamental feature of this software, that the track priority of top-down effect. The order is therefore synonymous, the text generator below. All Effects, which in any way with transparencies with overlays and so have to do follow this approach.
A few times you will be naturally handle. Movie studio looking at the videos almost of "top down" to. You guckst of up to a picture down, and if this picture parts were cut out, you see the top of synonymous to what lies below the Picture. So a very intuitive approach.
