Antwort von Markus:

What do you in "reasonably usable"? 4:3? 16:9? CRT? LCD? SD? HD?

Antwort von The Guest:

well, he should have 4:3 and 16:9 represent. HD is not necessary, I can not stop soooo much to spend

Antwort von robbie:

If you are of Broadcast - Monitor speak, then you must be a little deeper into the pocket ...
for example, the first time since:
http://www.matrox.com/video/products/mxo/home.cfm

Taste you with a good monitor s.die 2000 Euro ...

Otherwise the best solution is probably the output via FireWire, and then a nice monitor tuned ...

Robbie

The tip is simply a 23 "Apple Cinema Display as the second screen (Digital Cinema Preview). If there should be better, then with Matrox MXO and a BMD HDLink between s.das Cinema Display on it. You can synonymous an x-any flat screen TV via Apple instead of the HDMI display connected. But at full HD resolution Eighth!
More tips: a Aja io (HD) and a right turn because the preview monitor. For example, an 1750s of JVC. Or the 1710CG HD when it should be. Also possible is the V24L1D (see a review: http://www.dv.com/reviews/reviews_item.php?articleId=196602806)
Next is m. M. After each class 1-Sony monitor. Also a HD Preview goes with his class 1-Monitor halfway.

Antwort von The Guest:

Do you Matrox MXO AND BMD HDLink or do you mean Matrix MXO OR BMD HDLink?

Here's how I understand it makes both devices have the same

Antwort von The Guest:

Sorry if I ask so stupid.

As far as I know, entpsricht Full HD Resolution1920 * x1080 pixels, right? The Apple 23 "Cinema Display has Apple released a loud Resolutionvon 1920x1200 pixels. That would already correspond to full HD.

Why then a Maxtrox MXO / BMD HDLink? I understand this correctly that there are the signal, which comes from the Mac to convert an HD signal?

It is primarily concerned with the correct color. For example, if you now in your movies pick up a directing Color correction, this correction only with the 23 "Apple - Display control and then output the finished movie, you will probably wonder why suddenly all so wrong and funny looks, but thou hast done everything right and s.Apple has everything perfect that which synonymous.

Main - meaning and purpose of an external, professional monitor is ultimately synonymous the correct color. Therefore, the parts become synonymous, with which you have the correct gamma curves and Co can adapt.

Robbie

Thanks for your answer.

And it is both necessary MXO and HDLink? One alone is not enough? Sorry that I must ask. I'm still fairly new in the "scene";)

Antwort von robbie:

Nene ... either or ... the BMD HDLink you need only if you have an HD-SDI signal on an LCD - which want to monitor .... the MXO you need if you have the second LCD - Monitor s.den DVI - output of the MacBook connects ... ;)...

Schöne Grüße,
Robbie

Antwort von mauriceg@gmx.de:

If I do, but an Apple Cinema Display wishes ... but then I want an HD-SDI signal to an LCD monitor output.

So, according to your statement, I need between MBP and Apple Cinema 23 "only an MXO.

Antwort von PowerMac:

No.. Matrox MXO is sufficient alone. With HDLink you can also be an HD-SDI signal farbgerecht to DVI-D implementation. For example, of a DeckLink card to NEN Cinema Display.

Antwort von The Guest:

Sorry but I'm just not quite with.

Can I afford to build so imagine:

Mac -> MXO -> HDLink -> Cinema Display?

Antwort von mauriceg@gmx.de:

I mean of course:

Mac -> MXO -> Cinema Display

Antwort von PowerMac:

Macbook (Pro) -> MXO -> Cinema Display / HD-SDI Monitor / HDMI - Display
Macbook (Pro) -> Aja io -> HD-SDI Monitor
Mac Pro -> DeckLink card -> HDLink -> Cinema Display / Monitor HDMI / HD-SDI Display

Clear?

Antwort von The Guest:

The MBP is asugestattet with the new FinalCutStudio 2, to tell me to buy a MacPro, I would like to save my MBP home for everything, and now live s.Set as synonymous cutting machine. (Maybe I begrudge me synonymous nochmla the 4GB Ram)
I want the MBP s.Schreibtisch fold somewhere so stand up and then a external monitor and just a Desktopset Book s.das connect.
So since I have a large screen to have, and no money for a 30 "display of Apple have now, I would like an LCD TV (about 82-94cm) for sale.
If the Resolutionder GeForce 7300 GT in the MBP at all for such a screen?
Can you recommend a screen? In 1000 ¬!
