my employer renews its complete video surveillance system and I could get 4 Controls monitors (15 ", NoName, correctly in metal case) for 10 - ¬ Buy the piece. Those things are probably 4-6 years old and provided a black-and-Picture. Or was possibly the fact that the surveillance cameras only s / w could?

Yes, for the monitoring technology, there is pure b / w monitors. They are of course not too expensive new, but for video editing unsuitable.

So the Chugai is now home and has already been successfully connected. looks quite good - I must first turn accustomed. just a pity that now the sound and the image in the preview mode are not exactly synchronously and that the image sometimes jerky. everything sounds after purchase of a dual head card, right? ;)

Whether the s.ruckelnden Picture Picture-/Tonsynchronisation or something to change the interview, I do not know. For me there is a video card with analog outputs between Calculator and Audio -/Videomonitor (s).

My question is very simple: What hardware do I need to properly trim and (!) the effects, color editing, etc. in real time, smooth on my external monitor to be able to see? please refer me s.den hardware thread. I have read several times now and would not be smart of it. what is missing when my pc's in the preview jerky and the sound is not synchronously? a graka, a cut card, an espresso less? ;)

The espresso is certainly a good approach, but the question of the hardware you need, unfortunately, someone else answered.
In my DV editing PC running a Matrox RT.X100. The leaves are not so readily in an existing PC retrofit.
