aDVanced DV PAL/NTSC Converter v1.1 released - "Perry Mitchell"

From: Attila Mezei
Just a short note that I released version 1.1 of my PAL/NTSC converter.
The improvements are: better quality and faster motion interpolation
besides the usual pulldown and interpolated pulldown methods.
Imports and exports most file formats.
You can find it and other tools on my homepage:

What I am asking myself, Perry, is: how is the difference between 24
(film) and 25 fps (video) solved in our PAL standard?
Do film - to video productions (in case of 1:1 transfer) run about 5%
faster than the orginal film? And will video to film transfers result in
about 5% longer running times?
I know that the audio pitch can be corrected, but 5% slower or faster is
quite a number.
