We want to be able to go between DV and DigiBeta, ie. SDI to Firewire and vice versa. I remember some discussion of converters a while back, e.g. the Miranda DV-bridge, but can't find the post. Does anyone have recommendations as to the best SDI/Firewire converter (or what to avoid)? Any help gratefully appreciated! What I want is to edit DVCAM material (from a Sony DSR1800P), and be able to drop a program in at a certain timecode. Either the whole program, or just the sound or picture.
