A test tape I just made on a Sony PD150 in DVCAM mode plays back fine on a consumer DHR-1000 VCR and a PC100 camcorder. An organization I'm working with can record meetings on a DVCAM-only VCR at the facility they're using, and I'd like to be able to tell them that they can play and edit the tapes at home with the consumer equipment they already have.
