DVL-Digest 626 - Postings: Index Canon xl-1/3x & 16:9 Full screen video JVC hard disk camera VX-2000 hiss status? Canon xl-1/3x & 16:9 - Adam Wilt When I dropped the footage into FCP I noticed the boom pole/mic in several > of my shots. FCP is showing you the entire frame, whereas the finder on the XL1 is probably cropping things in a bit (or a lot). As I recall there was some cropping on the XL1s and GL1s I used last; I *know* my VX1000 crops a huge amount around the periphery of the frame. Cheers, Adam Wilt Full screen video - "Perry" Randy Quimpo posted: >Watch it with your language when describing the Cinepac codec settings. Some people get offended, especially when making references to size and quality< Request to all web/cdrom coding experts: How about a quick straw poll of ratings for different codecs at full screen video(640x480)size? Use percentage subjective rating with MPEG1 at 50%. (yes Randy, I know it was a joke but I can't resist the segue!) They would digitise all your material (if analog) and keep it on their servers. They would have a web based index and search engine based upon Meta-Data. Perry Mitchell Video Facilities http://www.perrybits.co.uk/ VX-2000 hiss status? - Adam Wilt I plan to use the VX2000 with an ME66 - do you > figure it will behave the same as the ME80? I can't say without trying it. I might figure, but I might be wrong! Cheers, Adam Wilt (diese posts stammen von der DV-L Mailingliste - THX to Adam Wilt and Perry Mitchell :-) [up] |
