I'll be bringing an NTSC Sony PD-100a camera which was purchased in the U.S. I bought a plug converter from Radio Shock that changes the plug ends and converts the power. Will that do? It's a 1600-Watt "Foreign Travel Voltage Converter" and says it "Converts Foreign Electricity 220/240 VAC to Standard US 110/120 VAC. One of the plug converters is for "England and Africa" which is the three prong pattern with two horizontal prongs at the bottom and a top vertical prong. Any comments? Advice? D8 Capture? - "Perry" From: Em Any D8 users out there? just wanted to know if there is a way to Capture old Hi-8 tapes with having to dub onto a D8 tape? Also, is it best to use S-Video versus Analog for dubbing....? or let say....D8-w/ Hi-8 Tape to DV....hmm? Sorry to sound like a Newbie but I'm from the old school of Targa and Linear editing...
