My Final Cut Pro tells me when capturing after several minutes, "The tape has reached." But we are just middle of the tape. I can then synonymous weitercapturen S.da. But you tired just pretty. Gecapturet directly into ProRes422.
Has anyone a possible solution? Or even the same experience?

This is strange. Normally, the NLE gets in Capture mode, only the signal of the VTR Tape end "even if the VTR, the signal due to mechanical resistance eject during playback. (Otherwise, when a blank tape dropouts or body) so it says something like "No more frames, etc." Either because you have a tape in there that are so difficult that turns the camcorder suggests some resistance because of the high end of a tape and it gets passed on to the NLE NLE or spins.

Apple has problems with dealing with HDV signals. This leads to such results. Another capture tool that can deal better with error correction signals from the HDV stream, could well be a solution.

Had you happened to be a good solution to offer? I would like to continue to capture directly in ProRes422 ... which may well be difficult to find such a tool, huh?

Capturet anyone besides yourself HDV ProRes via firewire? Please reply times. Because of problems when capturing HDV are actually expected in Final Cut Pro s.allerwenigsten that there is probably nowhere else, the function (with a tape error, which was not seen in my entire band without recording process, despite frequent start / stop) Just to start a new clip. In my opinion, a better workflow, HDV is usable (clips, already from the browser) has been designated as a batch convert to ProRes. Is there a general capture tool that ProRes via FW capturet? If it has to be, would be more s.eine capture card via HD-SDI to think.

A tape must be error to the user in the form of drop-outs do not show - it satisfies a small TC-gap and Final Cut Pro creates a new clip to go with a few seconds of important material lost!

So tape error or TC errors are definitely not, because then it would indeed always be s.den same places failure. That does not happen. When the tape stops, winding I'll take a few seconds and back on again and it goes away easily on this site about it. If it were a mistake, so that would always occur s.der same place.

Errors can occur sporadically s.verschiedenen synonymous sites. The system has to deal only reasonable to recognize errors and to be able to take countermeasures.
Soon I will accept me with AP CS4, Edius and the SonyZ1 this problem under Windows.
