Flachbildfernseher sind Mist?

16:9-Automatic

Frage von Martin:
September 2006

Hello,

I still have my good old 50Hz-4 :3-tube TV. Until then I keep a few points from buying a 16:9 flat screen television. My observations:

1. The deinterlacer are generally crap. My benchmark is the treadmill for stations such as n-tv, Bloomberg or similar - so far I have seen no plasma or LCD television, which may constitute reasonable synonymous only approximate. The same goes for eg football transfers - as soon as the camera pans, is from the lawn green mud.

2. If anything, Full HD. Ensure that it still only 1080i and not 1080p is, I booked only as a bad joke of the industry.

3. Something like a 16:9-automatics not seem to exist. How else do you explain that most of 16:9 television in 4:3-signal on the Height 3 / 4, and squeezes, even more absurd, this compression retained even show broadcasts in 16:9, so top and bottom bars?

Maybe there's times here soon remedy the situation?

Greeting
Martin

Item 3 depends on the starting material. If you are connecting a DVD player, sending a 16:9 signal with, and the television will switch correctly. The same works with DVB-S/-C/-T if the corresponding transmitter radiates true 16:9.
With analog sources (such as analog cable TV), these results do not usually work because there is usually broadcast only 4:3 instead of 16:9 with black bars (or PALplus that from the perspective of simple analogue synonymous only with 4:3 bar is). Because you then get to see a "window" (ie, beams s.allen pages) and it has with any hochzoomen button itself. Television Some have shown an automatic zoom, black bar is, the more works badly.

Why in the "stores" most of the 16:9 television are set to reflect that breitgequetscht it 4:3-material that is synonymous to me a mystery. Either we go to the slogan "the screen must be fully demonstrational, no preference at what price", or the staff there is simply incompetent.
I have the synonymous seen in homes, but I do not know if it is there lack of knowledge or intent. In the waiting room of my doctor lately, hanging a plasma screen on the N24 runs all the time - considered synonymous in the Width. It really seems to be people who prefer to drag the picture into the Width, as the natural proportions, with bars on the left and right to have. The world is crazy.

During the World Cup, I was once in a shopping mall, where it was installed in each floor, a screen with the current football game. On the first floor hung a 4:3-monitor where the picture was formatfüllend zusammengestaucht. In the 2nd OG, a larger 16:9 screen, on which the picture was also breitgezogen yet (despite the 16:9 format hung black bars above and below and the football a lying eggs). Since nobody seems to give the staff, disrupts it. : (

Television What have you seen you? My Panasonic Plasma TV brings the treadmill of N24 over quite well, with some moving screens flicker even look at a 50 Hz CRT monitor very modest (barely legible).

Depending on the pan speed could synonymous present a motion blur. Oddly enough respect for a tube TV but no one on it. ;-)

One must not forget that plasma screens with video error handling merciless as tubes. If, for example due to the MPEG compression of a digital transmitter, the lawn vermatscht or shows movement artifacts, which is slightly lower than in the soft reproduction of a tube device. An LCD or plasma television (especially when it is fully digital controlled) shows each error brutally clear.

But, I ;-)

With motion blur to the human eye can obviously handle quite well, but not so that fine structures suddenly disappear entirely, only to reappear after the swing again.

Erstmal The problem has nothing to do with the above-mentioned problem (was related to an analog signal, in which a 50Hz-Television) displays a fairly decent picture, but of course, another point that annoys me. In fact, the compression leads in sports broadcasts worst effects in pans. My hope would be that is used in the future a little more bandwidth for such events ...

By the way synonymous MPEG4 not help here next - already the Analogzuschauer 2 seconds Rejoice in the digitized neighbors, with MPEG 4 extends the time for a bottle of beer:)

I offer a postscript: Martin, look at the Picture of a Panasonic TH-42PV500E (plasma TV) to. I have extra time on the treadmills of n-tv, N24, respected Bloomberg & Co.. They are all clean and legible knotless in the presentation.
