I have 16:9 DV recording and would like to make a quick Wiehnachtsfilmchen. My parents have a 4:3 television and I think black bars above and below is not very nice. Hence the question:
How do I come from a 16:9 to a 4:3? Which program can do?

VirtualDub or VirtualDubMod. The filter is called Crop and Resize.

cropping is not under "Filters ..."," Add "how to" resize "but under" Filters ... " directly.
