is true that I have with the XL1S can not 16:9? in the menu there is the point. but instead as described in the manual ( "the canon XL1 practical handbook - xl1e and XL1S") that the choice is "on" and "off", it is pink background (everything else is white), it is rather its three lines ( " ---") and you can not adjust. : (

The XL1 is all standard format (2.35 x 1 ..) as einbelnden strokes in the monitor, but an HD Camera to be able jedenfall 16:9, otherwise it would be so no HD.

Sorry but the XL1S is a normal DV camera.
Normally they would have to do synonymous 16:9.
Perhaps what stands in the mobile phone book. Kannste synonymous with Canon runterladen.
